Privacy Policy
How information is handled when you use RelayTunnel and contact Norismedia.
1. Who this policy covers
Norismedia develops RelayTunnel, the Android VPN client identified by com.norismedia.relaytunnel. This policy covers the app and related support interactions on this website. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@norismedia.com.
RelayTunnel does not require a Norismedia account. It connects to servers that you configure or obtain from a separate provider.
2. VPN traffic and server providers
After you approve Android's VPN permission and start a connection, RelayTunnel processes device network traffic to route it through your selected server or proxy. Connection credentials are used to authenticate with that server. Your server, DNS provider, and destinations receive the traffic and connection information needed to deliver their services.
The app does not include a Norismedia browsing-history upload feature. This is not a promise that your server provider keeps no logs. Providers may receive your IP address, connection times, destinations, and other traffic information, depending on the protocol and encryption used. Review their policies before connecting. Encryption and protection depend on your selected protocol and configuration.
3. Profiles and preferences stored on your device
Server addresses, connection settings, credentials, selected profiles, and app preferences are stored locally to provide the connection and remember your choices. Saved profile files are encrypted in app storage using Android-backed key storage.
Importing a profile reads the file, link, clipboard content, or QR code you choose. Camera access is used for QR scanning when you grant permission. Exporting or sharing a profile creates a separate file that may contain server credentials and restrictions. Password-protected exports provide confidentiality; passwordless exports do not. Files or messages you share are available to their recipients and are subject to the sharing service's policies.
4. Device restrictions and diagnostics
The app derives a local device identifier from Android build and device information to check profiles restricted to a recipient device. New restricted exports contain a one-way binding marker; older imported profiles may contain the original identifier. This information is used for profile restriction checks and is included in a restricted profile when you choose to export it.
Connection status, session duration, traffic counters, and bounded in-memory diagnostic logs support troubleshooting. The app attempts to redact sensitive values from its local log display. Review any diagnostic information before voluntarily sharing it with support.
5. Advertising and Google services
RelayTunnel contains ads provided through Google AdMob and uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request consent where required. Google's advertising SDK may collect and share IP addresses (including approximate location inferred from them), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or account identifiers such as advertising and app-set IDs. Google uses these for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.
Advertising data is handled under Google's Privacy Policy. See Google's advertising SDK data disclosure for details. Use Android's advertising privacy settings to manage your advertising ID. Ad behavior also depends on consent, region, and Google's applicable settings.
6. Network requests and website visits
The app checks for version information using an HTTPS request to the update endpoint at mytecharena.online. The receiving service obtains your IP address and normal request metadata. Importing a configuration link, using the ping tool, and connecting to a server also contact the addresses involved in those actions.
Visiting this website sends normal request information, including your IP address and browser metadata, to its hosting service. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives the network information needed to serve them. Following external links uses those services under their own policies.
7. Contacting support
If you email us, use the website contact form, or contact us on Telegram, we receive the contact details, message, and attachments you provide. We use them to respond, investigate problems, and handle your request. Email, hosting, and messaging services process the information needed to deliver those communications.
Do not submit private keys, server passwords, payment information, or other unnecessary sensitive information. We may disclose information we hold when required by applicable law or to address fraud, security incidents, or misuse.
8. Retention and deletion
Saved profiles and preferences remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app. Local diagnostic logs are held in memory for the current app process. Exported files remain in their chosen location until you remove them separately; uninstalling the app does not delete copies shared with others.
Support correspondence is retained while needed to resolve your request and meet applicable legal or security obligations. Contact info@norismedia.com to request access, correction, or deletion of support information held by Norismedia. Information retained by Google, your server provider, or another service is governed by that provider's own retention and deletion practices.
9. Your choices and security
You can disconnect the VPN, remove profiles, deny optional camera or notification permission, manage Android advertising settings, clear app storage, and uninstall the app. Contact us about privacy rights that apply where you live. Requests may require verification before information is disclosed or removed.
Local encryption and HTTPS requests help protect information, but no system can guarantee complete security. Choose trusted servers and sharing recipients. If you believe a child's information was provided to us, contact us so we can review and address it.
10. Changes and contact
We will update this page when these practices change and revise the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
