This Privacy Policy describes how Aura — She'll Text Back ("Aura," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application and related services (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information You Provide

• Profile Data: When you complete the optional flirting profile quiz, your responses are stored locally on your device. We do not collect or transmit this data to our servers.
• Text Content: When you use the Smart Reply or Screenshot Analyzer features, the text or image data you provide is sent to our AI service provider for processing. We do not store this content on our servers after processing is complete.

Automatically Collected Information

• Usage Data: We may collect anonymous usage statistics such as feature usage counts and session duration to improve the App.
• Device Information: Basic device information (device model, OS version) may be collected for compatibility and debugging purposes.
• Advertising Data: For free-tier users, we use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the App's core features (Smart Reply, Screenshot Analyzer, Challenges)
• To process your text through our AI service for generating replies and analyses
• To display relevant advertisements to free-tier users
• To manage your subscription and in-app purchase status
• To improve the App's functionality and user experience
• To diagnose technical issues and bugs

3. Data Storage

Aura is designed with privacy in mind. The majority of your data — including your flirting profile, challenge progress, and usage history — is stored locally on your device only. We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on external servers.

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini API: To power AI-generated smart replies and conversation analysis. Text data submitted for processing is handled according to Google's API Terms.
• Google AdMob: To display advertisements for free-tier users. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Apple StoreKit: To manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. Transactions are handled securely by Apple.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

All subscription payments are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information (credit card numbers, billing address, etc.). Subscription management and billing are handled entirely by Apple. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 17 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 17, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the information processed through the App. Since most data is stored locally on your device, it is protected by your device's own security measures (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID). Data transmitted to our AI service is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections.

8. Your Rights and Choices

• Delete Your Data: You can delete all locally stored data at any time through the App's Settings > Reset All Data option.
• Ad Tracking: You can limit ad tracking through your device's privacy settings or by upgrading to Aura Pro (which removes all ads).
• Manage Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription through Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your device.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
